French and Grace. Fuck. Yes.

French and Grace located in Brixton Village is a bit of a mixed bag of middle eastern and british ideas. Flatbread wraps, salads, coffee, brownies, bloody marys.. and i fucking loved it.

I went for the special on the menu which was harissa baked beans with feta, fried egg and i added chorizo which was totally necessary. It came with a perfect amount of toast and really was all very lovely, the egg was runny, the chorizo was incredible and not chewy as it can be, beans were great but it could have done with a little more feta. I will now always put harissa in my home made baked beans as it's fucking awesome.

I had a soy flat white that was a little too frothy and not very pretty too look at but was incredibly good quality coffee (Volcano coffee), i also had a harissa bloody mary that came complete with a little pepper and fantastic. I think i had a bit of a spicy/tomato/harissa overload with everything i had but it was awesome none the less. I reckon this place will become a favourite of mine and can't wait to go back, can't believe i only just found out about it!

Go there. Now.

A little frothy for a flat white and the appearance was left to be desired, but the coffee is fantastic so who cares.

Drinks.

Special: Harissa baked beans w/ feta, fried egg and added chorizo.

Amazing. Only complaint (which is me being picky) is that it could have had more feta.

Harissa bloody mary.
